Boating Safety Tip of the Day
Tip of the Day: Is your boat plug installed?

You removed your boat plug in the winter after hauling your boat from the water, but have you remembered to reinstall it? Every year, some recreational boaters launch and then watch their boats sink  because they forgot to reinstall the boat plug. Don’t let it happen to you.No related posts.

The new WordPress-based website of the Drum Point is at this new domain – DrumPoint.org. Content and information is being moved to this new location. Look for new content soon!

The Drum Point Flotilla is based in Prince Frederick, Calvert County, Maryland. AOR’s include the Patuxent River, portions of the Chesapeake Bay and tributaries.  You will see our members on patrols leaving Chesapeake Beach and Solomons, Maryland.

By the way, the man in the header is Flotilla Commander Dan McConnell aboard the “Liz Reese” owned by Auxiliarist Ray Feller. The Liz Reese patrols North of Chesapeake Beach.
