Boating Safety Tip of the Day
Show courtesy.

A common complaint from boaters is the lack of courtesy shown by boaters to each other. Don’t be a discourteous boater. Obey the rules of the road. Adjust speed near paddle craft. Watch your wake. Arrive alive knowing you helped other boaters have fun and be safe as well.No related posts.

(CGBlog.org 11/12/09) Guardian Rachel Polish writes about why she became a Guardian. Great article at CGBlog.org and well worth reading if you are a young person in Calvert County or Southern Maryland considering a career in the military.

Visit the article at CGBlog.org:  “Why I Joined the Coast Guard: Rachel Polish” By the way, I believe Rachel is following our Flotilla on Twitter!

Thank you for your service Rachel!

Semper Paratus! and as I always say “Guardians Rock Rachel does!!”
