FSO-MT Report
November 2009
1. End of year data input. As you know, maintaining certification as crew/coxswain, instructor, vessel examiner, dealer visitor, for example, requires periodic workshops, exams, classes and minimum performance to maintain certification. Completion of the requirements doesn’t count if it’s not recorded in AUXDATA. Check AUXINFO now to make sure your stuff is in. If not, follow up with whoever was supposed to submit documentation. If paperwork is not in by November, it probably won’t get it before the end of the year. It’s way easier to stay certified than to get recertified. If in doubt ask.
If you got a web browser and are connected to the internet, click on the following link (or copy it into your web browser): https://www.auxinfo.uscg.gov/cognos/cgi-bin/ppdscgi.exe?BZ=1AAAA8lKPrqUABEwU6VFChpEgVbAQCUIlaCswhrxpA6cMnTJuxqQpM8eEkCg9yMCAEbO7vw0SJEj21eyu97_5145Z5HxIBGHD9hZV3KShM6cEjJx6xxS8qfPD2TUDZl_ZmH1iu3Jqw2dlZGoDElKvXI99MWzEmPlmKHbnFLs~SuIQ08uMiyDxTEPAP0== . If your name is not on the list that comes up or there is a “0″ under a certification you think you have, you’re certification lapsed for some reason.
